A little bit of an update

I went to Oregon 2 weeks after we moved to Idaho, to go back for my friends wedding! (Sept 21st - Oct 1st) Just Ammo and Me! I honestly was very stressed and scared to go on this trip, I thought that i was gonna get in a crash and die, i thought ammon would be horrible, and I almost didn't go, the night before i was to leave, i prayed and i felt very comforted, and all my fears went away, (we also upped our insurance to 250 deductibles).... its was a great trip there, we made it in 13 hours and ammon woke up 3 times, once in Boise, once in Bend, and then right when we pulled into Eugene. It was a great trip, we made it in GREAT time, despite the fact that the driver side door was not opening and i had to climb in and out every time we stopped... oh what fun that was. haha anyhoo, I was there for 10 days and Ammon cut THREE teeth, he even got sick a few days before we came home and has a tiny bit of a cough still, but hes almost all better. The trip back was the scary one. Theresa came back with me to help keep Ammon occupied and keep me awake. Around 8am just as we were coming out of the oregon mountains, about 35 miles from Bend, the sun blinded us and we started hydroplaning towards the guardrail! i tried turning away and the car spun half way around twice (its hard to describe, it all happened to so fast) to make a long story short we ended up facing the opposite way sliding up against the guardrail on my side. Lucky for us, no one was behind us and no one was in front of us and no one was in the opposite lane (which was extremely good, considering the fact that we were spinning and swerving in the oncoming traffic's lane) The car looked like it had minimal damage, and we were all fine, I actually had a bit of a gash taken out of my left arm above my elbow, but we were all intact with no broken bones or any other serious injury. we stopped in Sisters for a potty break and noticed the car was acting a little weird when we turned, we stopped at a jiffy lube in Bend and the guys there were kind enough to look at it, the metal wall by the tire had bent to the point where it was shredding the tire when we turned or went over bumps! so they guy bent it back out for us no charge and sent us on our way. we spent a good three or four hours in Bend trying to find the DMV where we were to report the accident but we finally found it and had a good, fun time on the rest of the trip. We got home to Idaho around 11ish, lucky for us, Ammo crashed pretty soon. Considering the fact that we had been traveling for 16 hours and he slept about 14 of them. A couple days later we dropped our car off at the local shop, hoping that it wasn't totaled. Well it was and at first I was kinda scared and upset, the damage didn't look that bad, but i guess it threw off alot of the alinment and the bumpers would have to be replaced and it would need to get painted again. So we thought all was lost, we failed to realize that this was what we had been wanting! we have been tryin to sell the BMW to get a minivan for almost a year and a half (ever since we found out we were pregnant with Ammo) And here was our chance! So we sold the BMW to our insurance company, collected the money and got a mini van, not only did we get to buy in out right. But since we are in Idaho, they were LDS and very fair, and very generous, we got a 1999 Ford Windstar LX, with only 74,000 miles on it. A year NEWER with HALF the miles than our 2 door BMW, for only 4,300. The Lord works in mysterious ways, ill tell you that. NOT to mention, we thought we had a job lined up for Sean when we got here that would pay him pretty good and it fell through and he was been so busy with school that we haven't been able to get him a job. (If he had that job, he wouldnt have been able to go to Idaho Falls with me to look for the van )We were running out of money, with rent that had to be paid, and than the car got crashed. with the money we saved by getting that great of a deal, we have enough to pay rent for the rest of the semester. And Winter he has off, and he'll be able to work full time. My testimony has grown so much, the Lord has watched over us so much and we have been blessed. We have a payed off minivan that we LOVE. with two slide out doors, with plenty of room for our growing family. We are so excited. ohh and another thing, we were able to go to the Saturday afternoon session of general conference, for the very first time! He res some pictures....
